History
This personal website/blog began in June 2001 under the name of “ooops, my bad!” (think: Clueless). I began using Blogger the following month, July 2001.
Later, the site was retitled “Bad Kitty!” due to my love of cats and an old button I once had with a meowing cat on it captioned “Bad Kitty!”. Bad Kitty! was hosted at koloheanela.net in September 2002.
When I purchased my domain in October 2004, the site became “Misty-Blue.net”. For those of you wondering where the domain name came from, “Misty Blue” is a pop song once popularized by Dorothy Moore, Ella Fitzgerald, Monica, and Mary J. Blige. In March 2006, I installed Wordpress.
During it’s full run, my personal website has had 19 layouts, including this one. Throughout the years I’ve used Jasc Paint Shop Pro v.5 and v.7, Adobe Photoshop Elements v.1, Adobe Photoshop v.6-current, and Adobe Illustrator. I currently use the latter two design programs. While on Windows, I use WS_FTP, EditPad, and Adobe GoLive for coding and FTP. While on my Mac, I use CyberDuck and GoLive. I handcode Misty-Blue.net in xHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
